My Mission

Mission1249, founded by Brian Metzger, is dedicated to personal and cultural Spiritual awakening, maturity, prophetic worship, and empowering a supernatural lifestyle through mentoring, teaching, training and equipping.  

There are two dimensions to Kingdom inheritance. The first is the inheritance we receive from Christ; the second is the inheritance we win for Him.The more we become aware of what we’ve received from Him, the more our hearts burn to offer Him something in return. The inheritance we are charged to win for Him are the nations. Psalm 2 declares, “Ask of Me, and I will give You the nations as Your inheritance.” The nations of the Earth, ablaze with the revelation of who God is and what He’s like—that is the vision we are contending for. Our vision is our strategy. What we behold, we become. As we behold Christ ablaze, we ourselves become ablaze. And the more we burn, the more we set the world on fire.

“I have come to set the earth on fire, and I wish it were already Ablaze!" Lk 12:49

I pray that they will all be one, just as you and I are one—as you are in me, Father, and I am in you. 

May they be in us so that the world will believe you sent me. “I have given them the glory you gave me, so they may be one as we are one. I am in them and you are in me. 

May they experience such perfect unity that the world will know that you sent me and that you love them as much as you love me. Father, I want these whom you have given me to be with me where I am. Then they can see all the glory you gave me because you loved me even before the world began! Jn 17:21-24
